A room for TJ

The last several months Jill and I have been preparing for the life-changing event soon to come. Jill’s urge to “nest” has been overwhelming, and has consumed much of her time.

This meant painting and decorating the baby room. We had been putting off painting the room since we moved into our house, knowing there would be lots of changes coming. So, not being a big fan of painting, we recruited the help of our families to give us a hand in painting the room and furniture:

And then it was time to start decorating. With a new crib and some old furniture given a fresh coat of paint, the room was starting to come together. Jill talked Geoff into designing and building a quilt rack / shelf to add to the decor while she sewed a new window valance. Finally, the room came to life with our bumblebee bedding and a few other friendly insects.
