The kids have been looking forward to Halloween ever since we went to the orchard to get our pumpkins. Ever since that day we’ve been talking about carving our jack-o-lanterns, getting our costumes ready and going trick-or-treating.
It all started with a really nice Saturday when we up and decided to go to the orchard to get our pumpkins. The weather was fantastic and we didn’t know how many more nice weekends we would get, so off we went.

The kids had a great time picking out pumpkins, helping carry them, and playing at all the activities.

Then it was time to replenish the firewood, so a visit to the farm was in order. And on the way back we had the opportunity to stop at another orchard we hadn’t been to before. Needless to say, there was plenty more fun to be had.

As Halloween approached, it was time to carve the pumpkins. You should have seen how excited the girls were when we moved the pumpkins inside to warm up the night before carving.

Overall a very exciting month for the girls. Everybody had a great time, and the girls managed to rake in a pretty significant amount of loot that they’ll get to enjoy for the next couple of months.
