[cg_gallery] gallery_body_image_lightbox(10254, ‘left’, 150, ‘grace11week’); [/cg_gallery] [cg_gallery] gallery_body_image_lightbox(10239, ‘right’, 150, ‘grace11week’); [/cg_gallery] July 7th marked Grandpa Janes’ 60th birthday, a great reason to celebrate.  So Mom and sons put together a birthday party to celebrate the occasion.  Many of Dad’s friends and coworkers attended, both to celebrate Dad’s 60th but also Mom & Dad’s 40th wedding anniversary.  A few additional pics can be found in the gallery.

So as a gift for Dad & Mom, we decided it was about time to update our family pictures.  We hadn’t had them taken since both Greg and I were in high school – yeah I know, back in the stone age!  🙂

And of course being the photo-centric family that we are, we decided to attempt to take them ourselves with the assistance of the Bubba Photo Studios.

At the conclusion of the 2 hour photo shoot, we had managed to snap 750 pictures.  🙂  From those 750, we picked a smattering of our favorites, all of which can be found in the gallery.

But not all pictures were as good as our favorites.  Grace, although she was quite good, did make the process much more challenging.  Here’s a few of our favorite bloopers:

So, with all of that, we’d all like to wish Dad a happy birthday, and Mom and Dad a happy 40th!  We couldn’t have been blessed with better parents, and Grace couldn’t be luckier to have them as grandparents.
